Criteria for all Eyreton teams' competitions
- Must be a financial member
- NZPCA Five Rally rule applies. Rider must have attended no less than FIVE working rallies during the 12 months preceding the closing date for entries. THREE of these must be on the mount nominated for selection.
- Riders are expected to provide results on the official form obtainable below or at PC. One form per horse. Forms must be to named selector by the date set.
- Selection will be based on results. All levels will be looked at.
- Combination must have COMPLETED (finish on a live score (not Eliminated at any stage)) at FOUR events at the level/above the level they are nominating for.
- Eyreton expects from each team member
- one parent from each family should be prepared to assist with either managing, fence judging, camp mother, etc.
- to do as coach and manager request re fitness, turnout, etc
- Teams will be announced via meeting, phone or email and website within a few days of result closing date.
- Contribute to working bees and assist at the ODE

- Riders / parents will be expected to pay some of the costs involved. Half of training costs. If funding isn’t available, accommodation and transport.

Collier Trophy
Sunday May 22nd 2022

** One day Event. Dressage test, show jumping course and cross country course.
Team of 6 riders
Two seniors 16 & under 80cm
Two intermediates 14 & under 65cm
Two juniors 12 & under 65cm
There must be at least one rider from each age group plus one more. The competition is run by Christchurch Pony Club at various grounds. It is designed for riders not yet competing at Springston Trophy level. The best four scores from each team (one from each age group) are used to determine placings. You and your pony as a combination can’t have ridden at Springston Trophy and finished on a live score (not been eliminated) or competed at 95cm or above.

There are several specific training sessions and the team is away for about 5 days. The event is held at different venues in the South Island. Team members, including reserves, are expected to ride in Amberley Cup.
